The New Saint screens at DMZ Docs in Korea (22-28th September), at Tranzyt Documentary Film Festival in Poland (9-15th October), at Astra Film Festival in Romania (25-30th October) and the ArtDocFest in Moscow (2-10th December).

25|05|2011 - TV PRODUCTION SUPPORT 'I AM PROUD TO BE A LADY MECHANIC!'
‘I am proud to be a Lady Mechanic!’ received TV production support from the Dutch Media Fund. ‘I am proud to be a Lady Mechanic!’ by Karin Junger about Nigerian women who came to Europe to work in prostitution and now, back in Nigeria, build a new life. The documentary received a development grant from the Netherlands Film Fund and Dutch Media Fund and is co-produced by IKON.
16|05|2011 - SHOOTING HOE LUIDT HET LAND
Documentary Hoe luidt het land by Stella van Voorst van Beest started shooting this month. In a journey through the Dutch sound landscape Stella discovers how sound and behavior are related. Hoe luidt het land is co-produced by BOS (Buddhist Broadcasting Foundation) and supported by CoBo Fund, Dutch Media Fund, Netherlands Film Fund.
11|05|2011 - HONOURABLE MENTION GRANDE HOTEL
Grande Hotel, a documentary by Lotte Stoops, recieves a honourable mention at Hot Docs. According to Hot Docs International Programmer Gisèle Gordon the documentary is a ‘gorgeously photographed elegy and a deeply humanistic reminder of the fragility of power’.
Grande Hotel premiered earlier this year at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2011. The Dutch theatrical premiere will be on the 12th of May at ‘Het Ketelhuis’, Amsterdam.
21|03|2011 - THE NEW SAINT U.S.A. PREMIERE
The Full Frame Documentary Film Festival held in Durham - North Carolina will be screening The New Saint. The documentary is selected in the NEW DOCS section.

Pre-production for 40 Days of Silence directed by Saodat Ismailova will start this month in Central Asia. 40 Days of Silence is supported by the Hubert Bals Fund, the Netherlands Film Fund, Rotterdam Media Fund, Fonds Sud, Fondation GAN, World Cinema Fund, Goteborg International Film Festival Fund, Global Film Initiative and Sundance Screenwriters and Directors Lab and co-produced by Rohfilm and Petit Film.
